Faster access
The major benefit of a non-contended service is speed. At popular times customers using standard Internet Service Providers will find the speed of their connection drops as the number of users per 100 increases from 1 to 20 - 30. This increases the contention on the network (which is like congestion on a motorway causing traffic to travel slowly) and the service slows down. We can offer a contention ratio of 1:1, so whether you use the Internet at a busy time or quiet time, you will always get the speed that your modem supports (subject to delays at BT or problems with your phone connection).

No cut-offs
Unlike many other ISP's, we do not cut off your dialup connection after a set period (some do it as often as every hour, some every four or eight hours). We believe that if you are dialled up and paying for that connection then you are entitled to an uninterrupted service.

Cheaper phone bills
Internet users incur a cost for every minute they are online. By connecting at a faster rate, page delivery will be quick, downloads will be rapid and the time spent online will be less. The result being you pay less for accessing the same data. Same charge per minute
All customers will access the services using an 0845 number. The cost of the calls are charged on your regular phone bill at a local rate, which means customers will pay the same or less than with other ISP's.
